No one bought a single material possession as a Christmas gift for an entire year?

No toys. No iPads. No clothes. No clocks. No shoes. No couches. No watches. No guns. No candles. No DVD’s. No bracelets.

Instead, the only thing you could buy would be related to experiences or helping people who are actually in need. Concert tickets. Plane tickets. Food. Train tickets. Dinner dates. Skydiving vouchers. Hotel vouchers. Kiva gift cards. Food for the homeless. Water.org donations.

You get the picture. That would be awesome….

The problem?

Oh yea, the whole economy would “tank” since we rely on people spending money on worthless physical items to move the economy forward.

I can always hope.
