An End of an Era

Congrats to Rudy for a fantastic 4 year run at Trulia. With David & myself having already moved on our respective roles at Zillow and now Rudy from Trulia, it seems like an end of an era… The photo above was taken in 2008 at Javier’s in Orange County. If I remember correctly, that trip to Orange County was also the first time I met Jim Marks (who I now work for) in person.

Facebook Music — and “listen with your friend” — to Launch Tomorrow

Apparently Facebook Music is launching tomorrow. I had two immediate thoughts when I read the TechCrunch post. Who has enough time to obsess over these types of tech announcements and make such a huge deal out of a deleted Tweet? Facebook Music’s “Listen with your friend” is going to be a smashing success. Bigger than you can imagine. The distribution possibilities for musicians as a result of that feature are insane.

The Political System is a Total Joke

When the hell will politicians make decisions based on the issue at hand rather than “politics”? Bottom line to politicians: You are not elected to keep your party in office. You’re elected to govern and improve this country. Go do that and quit this pointless back and forth bickering that serves no purpose.
