Scottie Pippen – The Best Defensive Forward the NBA has Seen in the Last 25 years
Let’s face it – Scottie Pippen is the best defensive forward the NBA has seen since I was born (1982). In his Hall of Fame speech, Dennis Rodman said that Jordan and Pippen were the best 1-2 duo ever to play the game. And he played in an amazingly talented era. Better than Isiah and Joe Dumars, Hakeen and Clyde, and Robinson and Duncan. Better than Magic and Kareem, Bird and McHale, or Barkley and KJ. Granted, we all know Jordan is the greatest player this game has ever seen (way better than Kobe for sure) — and that’s why I think Pippen is so underrated; because he played alongside the greatest player on the … Continue reading

Under President Bachmann you will see gasoline come down below $2 a gallon again What are you smoking Michele? Seriously, who says something like that? I guess the fact that a Presidential candidate made an absurd promise they can not keep shouldn’t surprise me anymore. Is it just me, or could the political system in the US use a massive influx of non-salesmen/women? I’m tired of hearing candidates sell crap they can’t deliver to the American people. On a list of dumbest quotes politicians have ever muttered publicly, this has got to be near the top of the list.

Here’s a great article on The 12 Most – The 12 Most Important Business Lessons You’ll Only Hear from a Mentor. I particularly love this one: 9. Surround Yourself with People Who Give a S _ _ t Some of us are “lucky” enough to constantly supported and influence by people who care. A mentor will tell you that luck has nothing to do with this critically important aspect of your life. This is not an accident. Or fate. Or circumstance. Be consistently passionate and vocal about what you care about – and you will attract others who care!
What Motivates People?
Watch this. It’s spot on when it comes to the topic of motivations. [via Spencer Rascoff on Twitter]
Every Now and Then, You Have to Have a Little Fun
You have to take a break from the daily grind every now and then to stay sane — even when the daily grind is simply hunkering down behind a computer for 12 hours a day. For the developers and designers out there tired of using traditional Lorem Ipsum dummy text, take a peak at SAMUEL L. IPSUM. I think you’ll agree it’s a nice break from standard latin… [via Dominic at MSQRealty]
