2011-2012 Champions? Let’s see…

Not the Lakers. Kobe is too old, and Phil Jackson is out of the picture.

Not the Bulls. Derrick Rose doesn’t have enough experience and they have no legitimate #2.

Not the Thunder. Westbrook is not a point guard that can lead his team to the championship even though they have the best player in the NBA in Durant.

Not the Celtics. Too old, though I wish they would win another championship – you can’t help but love KG and Ray Ray.

That leaves the Mavs and Heat.

Mavs in 6.

If you are going to write about the NBA at least spell the players names correctly…..

  • what are you talking about? what name is spelled wrong?

  • Derrick is spelled right now

I have to disagree, first of all you dont know whats the roster in 2011-2012 season. Remember, more stars are in trade talk, (ex. Dhoward, cp3, etc.) if dhoward ends up getting trade to lakers, which i doubt, thats a bih factor for the lakers to be back on the road to finals. With all that being said, i wouldnt count out heat as the east conference champion. Thats guarantee, its the west conference that is going to be hard to predict. Lots of team in the west is capable of beating each other to the pulp just to get in the finals. Big example is the griz vs. Spurs in the first round.

So my prediction on the upcoming 2011-2012 finals is Heat vs. Lakers, mavs, okc, blazers or even griz.

But this time, heat is going to be the champ.

  • Your prediction is fairly accurate, but to say that the Mavericks are the favorites is being blinded by their glamourous run they just had in the 2011 playoffs. Everyone is a year older, and they are a one superstar team. The only team to repeat with this type of formula was the Houston Rockets in 1995, as I stated in my blog. For them to repeat next year, everything, and I mean EVERYTHING must go right… Odds are not in their favor. Lakers vs Heat. Heat in 7.

Not Everyone Loves KG n your RayRay! You obviously have no clue on BBALL! As stated by other writers anything can happen! And as far as Chicago they have a greater chance then Dallas! Bulls made it to the ECF on to get cheated by MIA n the refs! Thunder impressed everyone and as far as Dallas , Kidd is OLD! Kirk is not going to do it himself n that was their pity, thank you for staying quiet Mr Cuban present! MIA has more ego than talent and Dwade is supposed to lead yet gets punked by LeBrick James! Its all about the gamblers who control the outcome of the playoffs!!

  • Ray J, why dont you read my blog at http://www.baselineJ.com . The Bulls DO NOT have a greater chance than the Mavs. Championships are won with TEAM play, not one on one type stars.
