Personally, I don’t understand “Google Offers” from a branding perspective (TechCrunch article on Google Offers). If they want to take on Groupon (and we all know they do) – they should build a new brand from scratch to give it a chance to succeed. Google is known for SEARCH; not deals. Overcoming that is going to be challenging, and I don’t get why they’d try.

But that’s just me.
