I have no context on this quote or what made Rep Guernsey say it since it came from a Tweet from none other than Becky Berg (daughter of Kris Berg). But I thought it was a fun fact nonetheless. And it kinda makes me want chickens running around my backyard — at least right up until the time I’d have to go slaughter them with my own two hands to eat.
