Matt Damon, A Celebrity I Respect

It’s a video of Matt Damon on the David Letterman show, and he talks a bit about Water.org and microfinance. If only all celebrities spent their time on stuff that matters rather than on fancy cars and partying.

I’m Clearly Out of the Sports Loop

I just saw this tweet from the NBA: All You Need Is Love: @KevinLove vying to become 1st player in @NBAHistory to avg 20 (20.9), 15 reb. (15.3) & over 40% from 3 (43.7%) And I realized I had no idea who Kevin Love is (I looked and he’s the power forward for the Timberwolves). Growing up and up until a few years ago, me not knowing a NBA player averaging 20 and 10 would have been unheard of. Now, it doesn’t even surprise me that much…

Looking back at 2010

I quit my job. I spent a month and a half traveling around the Western half of the US in my civic. I visited two of my close college friends in Seoul (and hit Tokyo on the way). I went to Bay to Breakers. Again. I spent 2 1/2 months being a beach bum in Santorini, Greece with 4 extremely good friends; the best summer I’ve ever had.
