Comparison of Online Project Management Apps

I just came across this comparison of online project management apps (via Tac Anderson on Twitter) and wanted to bookmark it for myself for later reference.

Done :)

If you’ll need a powerful, customizable pm solution, take a look at our tool Comindwork ;)

Drew – check out Redmine, if you’re looking into PM apps. It’s an open source app and is very easy to install. We were on Basecamp and moved over to Redmine – not due to cost, but due to preference!

Thanks for the feedback Eric – I’ll take a look.

We also left Basecamp, not due to money just overall desire to keep it all in the family. We are using project pier which is great, and very easy to mod to look exactly the way you want. Clients love it also as they come to our site to view their projects, and not a third party like basecamp. Project Pier is a fork of the now closed source program ActiveCollab.

Thanks for the twitter shout out! Let me know if you want to test out redmine and I’ll create a user for you on a testing install I have. Redmine’s easy to install, but I wouldn’t want to go through it just to test it out.
