Damn, Why Didn’t I Buy Stock Yesterday?

So after yesterday’s huge decline, the DOW came back big today. I’m kicking myself now — why the heck didn’t I buy some stock yesterday?

    Drew, the same reason you didn’t buy any stock the day before and probably the same reason why you wont buy any stock today and tomorrow: there is zero reason for the huge swings and without short selling the market is lost as to what investors really think the price is and are operating in an environment of huge fear.

    The big one day gains on the stockmarket are always deep in the middle of bear markets. Catch a falling dagger as they say.

    I bought some yahoo the other day. I’m in it for the long haul (5+ years).
