Modern Web Design – Where is the Time Spent?

From the little web design work I’ve done & from what I’ve heard from other developers, Internet Explorer is a bitch and a half to code for (especially IE 6). It’s fitting that the yellow section is close to a third of the total web design time spent.

    I’m kind of fond of the time spent trying to get the layout to work using only CSS before giving up and using tables. I’ve done that more than once…

    Yeah, I wish people would just upgrade to IE 7 or Firefox 2 already. IE 6 has become the Netscape 4.7 of this decade. Oh well, at least for my sites the IE 6 / IE 7 ratio is approaching 50/50% so maybe in another year we can retire IE 6 from the supported browser list.
